This small, family-run metro hotel has easy access by bus to Edinburgh city centre, less than 2 miles away. It offers free on-street parking, free WiFi, en-suite rooms and a bar. Owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were warm, clean and comfortable.

The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are very warm as well as the toilet. Btw toilet is very good. You can park your car for free. Very clean and very good breakfast. It is not in the city center but you are there in a 25 min walk.

Just 0.5 miles from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, this 4-star Ten Hill Place, WorldHotels Distinctive is owned by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and offers free WiFi. We had a fabulous stay, we were their guests of the day and upgraded to a suite with a complementary Edinburgh G&T. Everything in the room was spotless and good quality, very comfortable bed. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and short walk to the golden mile. They even give you a packet of Scottish wildflower seeds in the room.

Just under 2 miles from Edinburgh city centre and Edinburgh Rail Station, International Guest House is a traditional Scottish property offering a free Wi-Fi throughout. Excellent guest house! The beds were super comfy, our room was clean and elegant. Despite it is a very busy street by buses, inside our room we didn’t hear a noise from outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
