A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

He explained all the rules at the beginning so you can enjoy the place a 100%. Bed was comfy and the temperature of the room amazing. Also has a nice little balcony with a nice view. I definitely will come back

From providing helpful recommendations to accommodating our needs, she truly made us feel at home. The venue was great value, clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and helpful giving us good advice and ideas. Also offering to loan supplies. Was easy to catch bus into Amsterdam and saved a lot of money that way (much cheaper than accommodation in town). Purmerend itself was a lovely town too.
