Dunelm House is in a great location, a short walk to pubs and restaurants and the harbour. Suzanne couldn't do enough for us, was very welcoming and even made us a booking for our evening meal at The Black Swan. The breakfasts were great as well and set us up for the day. The room was very nicely fitted out and furnished. Definitely recommend and will be coming back

A warm welcome awaits you at Dunelm House where you will have a very comfortable stay. Ideally located a few minutes from the harbour and the beach we offer four en suite double bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 ground floor. Breakfast is served at a communal dining table with a great choice for every taste. There is storage for bikes, golfing and diving equipment available. We look forward to your visit and making your stay as relaxing as possible whilst you explore the beautiful area of Northumbria.
Dunelm House is run by my brother and myself who both decided a change of career was needed in 2014! Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Home to Dunelm House, the fishing village of Seahouses lies in the heart of the ‘Northumbrian Riviera’, and is an ideal base for exploring the whole county. It’s bustling harbour sees daily catches landed, and also gives the only access point for trips to the Farne Islands earning Seahouses the tag line ‘the Gateway to the Farnes’. The Farne Islands (known as Europe’s Galapagos) offer some of the best diving, fishing and bird watching on the continent. Both to the north and south of the harbour lie rocky outcrops and golden beaches and is a mecca for waterspouts enthusiasts. Surfing, windsurfing, kite boarding and water skiing are all enjoyed in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Northumberland coastal path runs the length of the whole coastline and is perfect for walkers of all abilities, more challenging walks and treks can be found in the Cheviot hills and the Northumberland National Park only 20 miles away. Castles are abundant, the closest is Bamburgh, situated in the historic village of the same name, just 3 miles north of Seahouses. Others include Dunstanburgh, Chillingham, Alnwick (also home to Harry Potter) and Warkworth and are all easily reachable.
