Whether you're in Truro to visit the city, work, or explore, The Hotel VARA is an excellent base to stay on one of the best and leafiest streets in Truro, a short walk from Truro's Lemon Street, and the city center, including The Hall For Cornwall, Truro Cathedral, shops, restaurants and bars. A classic double fronted Victorian-fronted townhouse hotel with affordable hotel rooms, and newly created stylish downstairs spaces including a breakfast room, bar and lounge and a dedicated meeting room and work hub. The hotel has a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Relax with a drink in the bar and lounge, or find a quiet spot to work. The brand new meeting room is ready to host team meet ups and board meetings, and is fitted with a 50 inch screen and state of the art polybar to host remote Zoom or Teams meetings, conference calls and in room presentations. The 'Scandi' style continental breakfast, includes juices, cereals, yogurts, fruit, 'house mix' granola, and porridge with honey. Home-baked croissants, toast, muffins, continental cheese and salami. There's also hot toasted waffles with red fruit compote, and Cornish free range boiled eggs available. Available 7am to 9.30am on weekdays, and 8am to 10am at weekends and on bank holidays. Take out early breakfast boxes available. The bar stocks a selection of local Cornish beers, ales, gins and soft drinks. Barista coffee, a selection of Clipper teas, and drinks are served in the bar and lounge all day until 10pm. Freshly prepared stone baked pizzas available from 6pm to 9pm. Some of the rooms are dog-friendly. There is free on site parking at the rear of the hotel in the private car park, Long-wheel base vans extra charge applies. If you want to go further afield, Truro is centrally located with both the north and south coasts easily accessible for exploring the whole county. The Hotel VARA is close to the station, offers secure bicycle storage, and there is a bus stop directly outside with regular buses to the center of Truro and Falmouth.
