Fiona the owner, oh, she was a fantastic lady, brilliant sense of humour, so very helpful in everything! A wonderful breakfast, all the facilities were perfect, oh....the bed was fabulous, didn't want to get out of it haha. Oh I would highly recommend Summerfield House over and over again.

Summerfields House
Summerfields House is a detached, large, secluded unique property surrounded by gardens on all sides, and in the heart of Hastings. We offer the convenience of being close to the sea front, transportation, shopping, and attractions. One of the only properties with direct access to Summerfields Woods nature reserve. We offer free parking with electrically operated security gates. Electric vehicle charger can be used overnight for a reasonable price (our electricity isn't free!) Each room is well equipped, two with en-suite bathrooms, and another room with exclusive use large bathroom just one pace across the hall. The house has a breakfast/dining room along with a large conservatory (used in Summer months for breakfast). Each room has its' own key. Proud Certified. PLEASE NOTE Summerfield's has two resident cats. They do not go near guest rooms though.
Run by Fiona and Ian as the new owners since November 2021. We welcome you with open arms into our lovely home, a place you can come for peace and quiet without being miles from anywhere! Previous owners ran Summerfields house for over 21 years as a b&amp;b, and lived here for just over 50 years.
Summerfields House is uniquely positioned in Hastings, just 7-8 minutes walk to the sea front & pier. St. Leonards town centre, and Hastings town centre are about a 10 minute wal. We have our own private car park. We have direct access to Summerfields Woods. We have charming gardens with frequent visits from foxes, badgers, squirrels, etc. Summerfields feels like a rural residence but has the benefit of being conveniently positioned with buses available from right outside the drive.
