On arrival the young girl at the bar (Did not see her name) was quick and efficient. She explained everything and showed us where to go. She then served us for dinner and is a great asset to your team and again nothing was too much trouble and even did an excellent job of upselling one of the specials as a starter. The food was delicious, great portions and quick. The inn is a gorgeous country pub but with some gorgeous touches that make it feel really comfy. Eg underfloor heating in bedrooms/bathrooms. Water in your rooms, super comfy large bed and huge bathroom. The open fire and relaxed, personal atmosphere was a charm. We would definitely come back again.

Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the North York Moors, this former 16th-century coaching inn is now a high-quality country inn and restaurant, rich in historic charm. Set in the beautiful North York Moors National Park, the Fox & Hounds Inn is a great base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery of the moors and the region’s heritage coastline. The comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, overlook the glorious countryside and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The bar has an open fire and a beautiful oak-beamed ceiling. An excellent range of cask ales and selected wines are available and guests can enjoy freshly prepared food every lunchtime and evening in the bar, the restaurant or the games room. After an energetic day out walking or biking on the moors, you can relax in the sauna or enjoy a drink in the garden while savoring the superb views.
