Tideway is a fantastic sunny three bedroom house with log burner located in the sleepy creek-side village of Malpas near Truro. With glorious views out over the tidal Truro River estuary, this tranquil retreat makes the perfect escape away whether it be for a family holiday, a break with friends, or even for treating yourself to a change of scenery whilst working remotely. The main living and dining area is spacious and welcoming, with comfortable sofas, a TV, and a huge bay window with views out across the river, perfect for a relaxing after a hard day exploring! The log burner will make for a cosy evening after a day out in the fresh Cornish air. The dining area has a large table to seat six, ideal for your favourite holiday breakfast with all the family. There is also a separate study area with desk, making it easy to keep tabs on work if you need to. The kitchen is very well-equipped, having a full oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and large fridge-freezer. Conveniently, there is a separate downstairs WC cloakroom. Upstairs, there are three bright airy bedrooms with ample storage – the master has a super-king bed and views across the water, the second has two full size single beds that have been zip-and-linked together to make another super-king. They can be separated if required. This room opens out onto its own large decked area which catches the evening sun, perfect for enjoying your favourite night-cap before bed! The third bedroom has one full size single bed and also enjoys views out over the river. The main family bathroom has a bath with shower over. There is an additional outside toilet which can be accessed through the garage, if required. Young children are very welcome at Tideway, and there is a travel cot, high chair and stair gate available if needed, as well as some books and toys.

There are excellent countryside walks straight from the house and regular boat tours which you can take from the marina down to the bustling town of Falmouth, the National Trust Trelissick Gardens or the beautiful port of St. Mawes. The village of Malpas has an excellent pub, The Heron Inn, and there is also farm shop and tea room all within easy walking distance. Nearby Boscawen Park has a large adventure playground, café for takeaway food and drinks and free to use tennis courts. The city centre of Truro is a three mile walk, offering a numerous restaurants, bars and independent shops. You can soak up a little Cornish history at the Royal Cornwall Museum, and there are regular concerts which take place at the stunning Truro Cathedral. Being conveniently located for both the north and south coasts, you will be spoilt for choice with a plethora of golden sandy beaches, picturesque harbours, and hidden coves all waiting to be discovered. There are regular boats from Malpas Marina into Falmouth harbour for a lovely car free day out. The King Harry Ferry is also only 15 mins away, taking you (and your car) over the water and into the Roseland Peninsula and Heritage Coast. Additionally, there is a regular bus service directly into Truo, three times a day. Malpas is a small quiet village, and all guests are asked to respect the local residents accordingly. Strictly no parties or events are allowed, and we ask that unnecessary noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm. Any guests not adhering to this will be asked to leave the property.
