We stayed in a family room(18)- Was a really good size with lots of storage space.
The toilet was separate from the bathroom which I thought was fab (meant I could have a shower without the children needing to come in for the loo)
Great selection of tea and coffee in the room.
TV with Netflix etc. We had a peaceful evening - no noise from downstairs.
Great location for the beach, arcades and town,only a few minutes walk.
Staff were exceptional -friendly and helpful.
Was good value for money for a mini half-term break.

The staff were lovely from the get go. The room was clean, shower was great. Had dog bowls and bedding for our dog which was an extra treat! Breakfast choice of in the restaurant or the room was a game changer! The room was clean! Slightly small but we can't complain at that! Staff were helpful, food and drink are a reasonable price. Tea and coffee and biscuits were always stocked! The place was just a lovely, homey vibe and it was comfortable!

A lovely size room, nice and clean, fridge in room was a nice touch. The table and chairs in bay window overlooking beach was lovely and relaxing. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was beautifully done. It was home from home.

Nice little coastal town with plenty of restaurants and sights. You can do to the beach, walk down the train bridge, go up the mountain on quite accessible trails, it's all up to you. We liked Barmouth. It has a lovely beach. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. If you like walking, Barmouth is ideal. The town proved to be an ideal base for exploring the local area. Besides using the car, you can take advantage of the railway which runs all along the Cambrian coast and is a great alternative.

WE were there for the walks in Snowdonia.
WE were there for the walks in Snowdonia. Barmouth itself is a rather shabby looking town with funfairs and cheap eateries. There is only one good restaurant, Bistro Bermo which did us a beautiful takeaway because they have no room for dogs. The pubs locally served mainly very unhealthy food straight out of the freezer into the microwave. We did have one lovely fresh fish meal at the 'Last Inn'. The level of obesity we saw in Barmouth generally was immediately obvious and very concerning. Our hotel/B&B was on the outskirts of the town offering stupendous views of the bridge and estuary and into the harbour. Seaside town, but not Blackpoolish (good point) plenty of choice of bars & restaurants. Not Rowdy, visited in mid April. The local people we friendly & helpful. Didn't try the beaches at this time of year. The surrounding area is stunning.

Been visiting Barmouth area for years.
Been visiting Barmouth area for years. Wide Sandy beaches and dunes. Barmouth is a small town with basic shops, takeaways and a good amount of pay parking. Outside of the town are lots of smaller villages, beautiful scenery including Snowdonia and castles such as Harlech. If you want a good breakfast/ fry up try the Milky Bar cafe just up from the level crossing. Never had a bad meal there in 40 years 😊👍AAnonymous

Room was immaculately clean, decor was contemporary with a splash of traditional furniture.Beautiful sea view you won't be disappointed. A small fridge was in the room which was handy. An excellent guest house to stay at in Barmouth, easy access to the beach, town and restaurants. No breakfast served however plenty of local options, Look forward to coming again. Downstairs is fab, dining area and bars done to excellent standards. My room was exactly as shown on the pictures so cant complain and was excellent for price in the area. Room was cosy and clean with all the amenities you'd expect. Id booked for an evening meal and the food was spot on. Im a frequent visitor to the barmouth area and would definitely stay again. The staff were really friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. The food for the breakfast was amazing including the cappuccino. Its a great location for Barmouth central and the parking was easily accessible around the corner from the hotel. They even allowed us to stay on the car park for a little longer when we asked because the hotel wasn't full that day.
