This is a great place to stay, its local, friendly but has all of the requirements of a larger hotel. Food is exceptional and the staff are lovely always. It has live music regularly and although it can be a little noisy they always provide ear plugs if like me you are a light sleeper.
Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable.

Lymington was lovely. We went to the Saturday market where we bought local products for reasonable prices. The Angel pub was a find, as was The 6 Bells for breakfast.
Car parking was available, but quite pricey.
Good location for visiting IOW, the New Forest and Exbury Gardens.

Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town.
Lymington is charming, historic and a lovely Georgian Town. Not having the big chains means there are lots of independent varied outlets. The pub food is always amazing wherever you go and The Haven restaurant is awesome !

Lymington was a great place to visit, it had a real energy and buzz about it. The shops were good, seemed like quite a few independent shops and the charity shops had some quirky items in them, too. The Saturday market exceeded my expectations and was really interesting. The marinas were popular with visitors and it was nice to sit in the sunshine to watch the ferry to the Isle of Wight docking and leaving. Some really nice café and deli places to visit and a host of interesting pubs to sample local ale and gins.

A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques.
A nice town with independent cafes and boutiques. We enjoyed lovely walks around the harbour and along the flats, we could have walked for hours. Great local ice cream and a gluten free flapjack shop - Flapjackery. So good we went back the next day!
The location is close the new forest and an easy drive from home, it’s the first trip for family (the second for me, the previous trip with the girls) and we will certainly return.

The accommodation was first class modern rooms very clean...
The accommodation was first class modern rooms very clean lovely bathroom/shower facilities. Plenty of tea & coffee there for us to use. The beds were very comfortable so we had good nights sleep plus the rooms were nice and warm, and yes we would stay there again.
Clean, compact yet spacious, light ,airy and nicely decorated. Fab kitchen and bathroom. I had a few rainy days and it was a pleasure and a comfort to stay in. Haven retreat is a 15-20 minute walk from coastal walks, Lymington high Street, the harbour, food shops, let's say it's perfectly situated, especially for the open top hop on hop off bus that runs in the summer , it has three routes covering the whole of the new forest. Great fun, no driving . Cindy was there, a call away if there was anything else I needed. Xx
The location of this apartment is perfect. Not the easiest to find, but this was a repeat visit for us and our friends. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want. It is above a shop on Lymington High Street. So close to restaurants, water front and for ease of visiting places in the surrounding areas. Two car parking places are available which is a bonus. Thoroughlly recommend.
Seawolf is in one of the best locations on the South Coast, at Lymington directly overlooking the Solent. I have visited this area for 51 years and this was the best situation. The boat is well maintained and very clean. On our arrival our host was waiting to show us over the boat. Everything was done for our comfort over the long weekend. If this were a hotel I would say for her size she is a 5 star stay.
Breakfast excellent, chose day before and brought to your table. Excellent facilities pitch and putt giant draughts putting course the grounds and views fantastic. Our room was kept very clean and towels changed every day. Shower over bath good and the storage for clothing more than in any other hotel we have stayed. Ideal for IOW ferry and Lymington Pier Train
I have already written to you to explain that the Hotel was closed and therefore I could not stay there and had to transfer to the Stanwell House Hotel where I had to pay £200 for a room. The Angel and Blue Pig say they had informed Booking.com of the closure and it was your responsibility to inform me! What are you going to do about my extra £85 Costs?
The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Being situated in the centre of Lymington with car parking provided was ideal for us. We enjoyed our walks around the town and down to the harbour and the Saturday market was a bonus.
Both evening meals were delicious.
Fantastic place. Amazing knowledgeable staff. Very warm and welcoming place. The location is ideal and very handy for lymington and the new forest. I would definitely recommend.
The restaurant serves fantastic food and the in house brewery is brilliant.
Very cosy, great location with Lymington High Street on the doorstep. On holiday with my elderly Mother, I enjoyed the close proximity of the pubs & restaurants which were in walking distance, so little need for the car or taxis. Good car parking scheme.
We had a lovely room, the staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the food was great! It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. The Mayflower is very close to the harbour and a few minutes walk takes you into the centre of Lymington.
Nice main building, good location with golf course and driving range on opposite side of street. We slept well as the the Hotel is located in a quiet location yet not too distant from Lymington. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful.
Lovely clean and comfortable room. Great ambience and good food, and above all - excellent service. The staff really looked after me. It is also very near to Lymington Town Station, so extremely convenient for travelling too.
we had a fantastic stay in Lymington. staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Angie and Eric
Breakfast good. Room, bed and bathroom big. Linens were good quality.
