My mum was born in Carfin, and we visited relatives there quite frequently - mostly passed on now. My wife and I were on our way to a holiday in the highlands so we decided to break our journey in Motherwell.
I was last there about fifty years ago, so everywhere was very different! Was nice being back...

Staff were doing a job, sometimes reluctantly i found. I know the problem with recruiting staff at the moment and retaining them but really someone should be overseeing their interaction with the public, nevr mind initial training.

It was a one night stop off to break a long journey. TBH it was about what I expected for the money paid. The plus was the resturaunt the food was suprisingly good & saved having to hunt around for something to eat in an unknown area in a wet night. As a budget stay, pretty good.

Lovely hotel for a stop over, we traveled from Wigan and arrived at hotel late so night porter booked s in, they were expecting us so book in was fast and easy just what you want after a long trip. room was lovely and comfortable only tiny little negative could have had done with more milk for night/morning brew.
Great location for us to visit family as that was our main reason for the stay.
Hotel well fitted out with a real boutique look and feel to it, nit what you expect from the modern exterior (although having stayed in the Dokota sister hotel in Glasgow we did have an ideal what to expect)
Staff were all very friendly and welcoming (reception and bar staff)
Rooms well appointed and comfortable and all what you would expect of the brand
Food was also very good quality (we had breakfast and evening meal in the Grill restaurant)
A bit outside of Glasgow, almost 20 min drive from city center. But it's a good place to stay if you have a car and want a relaxing night before heading into Glasgow city center. The Carvery offers traditional meat roast and veggies which I must recommend anyone new to UK to try at least once. The breakfast was good and friendly staff helped us to call up a taxi in the early hours of the morning. Rooms were clean, secured and spacious with heater and running hot water.
Hotel is an old style house it does mot have a lift and the location of rooms seemed higgledy piggledy! Large open staircase takes you to first floor but from there a series of small corridors and small staircases take you through a Warren of room locations. Corridors are not very brightly lit so give a slight claustrophobic feel. Room was clean and tidy, had just a small window over the conservatory roof. Ample coffee, tea, milk for one night stay. Bed was comfy.
Excellent stay made even better by really friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate our larger group whilst also taking time to chat with us. Staff gave the kids some fantastic taekwondo advice before a big tournament which made the stay even more special for the kids. Fantastic value for money both for the hotel room and the restaurant which served a great assortment of food all of which was high quality and well prices
The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need. Unexpected little items such as washing up liquid, bubble bath, shower gel etc to name a few were a lovely touch. The towel art swans with the biscuits and chocolates were amazing. Will definitely consider using again when we come to Scotland for our annual family trips. We arrived into Scotland earlier than check in time and was able to gain access early too. Brilliant!
The bed was soooo comfortable. I don't know what they do differently than the hotels, but the bed was 10 times better than the standard hotel beds.
Seemed a bargain at the rate I paid and conveniently close to where I needed to be. Everything was done electronically and I never saw a single employee of the establishment. That can be good or bad depending on your preference.
Very modern decor, excellent light and furnishings. Pleasently surprised to find a fridge/freezer and small oven/grill in the kitchen area. Shower was fantastic, excellent pressure. Bed was large (super king?) and very comfy. Was not bothered by noise at all despite proximity to busy road into Motherwell. Good location and ample parking. I felt safe and secure staying here.
It was a pleasant hotel , the staff were friendly and helpful and for a solo traveler , you felt welcomed and at ease. It is in the centre of Motherwell so in the vicinity of all amenities and near the train station for travelling out with town
Welcoming staff. Just an easy short walk from the railway station. Modern, clean and spacious rooms. Very good bar/restaurant within the hotel serving delicious freshly-cooked meals at good prices. Booking half-board provides even better value.
I was totally impressed with this hotel. The place was very grand with a great bar and restaurant area. The whole hotel is very well presented and the rooms are of a very high standard and staff very polite... Plus great EV Charging point.
Quick visit for work and picked this as a reasonably local hotel at a good price. Room for the cost was exceptional. I've paid 3 times the price for worse rooms over the years. Clean, friendly staff, nice bar / restaurant area.
Spacious room, great location, breakfast included. A superb place to stay if you are heading north and need an over nighter or simply want a cheaper option for the Glasgow area.
The hotel was in a perfect location the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, run was lovely and spacious, the bar was very relaxing and breakfast was superb.
Nothing.
This address, 4 Jerviston Court, is NOT an address where rooms are let. When did you last review this?
This address is in a rundown area of Motherwell.
The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. The hotel and restaurant were excellent if I ever travel to Scotland in that area I would book there again
