Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.

This was an extremely short trip so we could only sample a bit of the town but we loved it. Lots of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Interesting pubs and a small but fascinating museum. Also managed to have a look round the Harbour too. Had a drink at the Twelve Taps - that offer a tasting board of 3 x small beers. And found a fish and chip shop with attached restaurant that did gluten-free fish and chips.
Great location, nice and easy to walk into Whitstable. Breakfast was included which was a lovely surprise and was delicious. Room was small, but had good storage space and a nice size bathroom. Was clean and had everything we needed. There was a hairdryer too which was very helpful. The bar and dining areas are nicely decorated and welcoming so we relaxed there in the evenings. The hotel is also only a 20 minute drive away from Canterbury so recommend visiting there too.
The location was perfect, right in the centre of Whistable. The view from our window/balcony of the beach was brilliant.
Our main reason for choosing his option rather than other locations was it parking space (a rare commodity in Whitstable!). The accommodation is room only, tea and coffee making facilities only but there is the option of having breakfast at The Continental Hotel (the owners of the properties) but there are many other options also nearby.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming, they couldn't do enough to accommodate us.
Beautiful setting away from hustle and bustle of Whitstable but just a short walk down there.
Rooms were beautiful and clean. Breakfast included was fantastic, we also had lunch there before we left, sat outside and looking at the sea. That lunch was actually nicer than what we had the night before at the sportsman, which ironically was the reason we had booked the hotel!
The B&B was very comfortable and clean with Sue being a wonderful host. The cooked breakfast’s were very good and Sue would find an alternative if you wanted something different. Parking is very difficult in Whitstable but the hotel has access to a couple of parking spaces round the corner which is very useful and included in the cost. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep every night.
Beautiful hotel that is small & personal but large enough to have a variety of bar spaces plus the restaurant to enjoy the sea views. Lovely bedrooms especially if you get sea views and balcony. The staff are phenomenal - we stayed over Christmas and from breakfast to dinner the food was always delicious and the service was professional but also relaxed and welcoming - the entire team were amazing.
Great location with free parking at the warehouse property, unusual in that there was no kitchen / living room in the property just the 2 bedrooms. Not an issue for us but may be for some. Great finish and done to a high spec, also if you have an electric car all parking spaces come with a charging point.located right in the centre of whitstable with your own gate to the harbour seafront.
We only stopped overnight stay but wished it was a longer stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy. The garden views were very impressive. It was a perfect stopover for us as we wanted somewhere calm and quiet. It is perfectly located for short drive or cab ride in to Whitstable. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we will come back!
good location, the room was quite small but it was charming and had a lot of character to it, and the owner made really good use of the limited space, so i found that impressive. Wife and I were happy with the room but others who might be looking for spacious or modern / hotel like accommodation might not like it.
The snug was a really high spec, all the furnishings were that of a 5* hotel. there was a coffee machine with pods which was amazing, the host even chilled water for our arrival. the guest book was really helpful. the bed was so comfy and it had everything we needed for a small break- thanks so much.
LOVED IT, SELF SERVICE CEREAL/TOAST, BUTTER AND PRESERVE + BEVERAGES AND BOTTLE OF WINE AVAILABLE ON ARRIVAL AND REPLENISH BREAKFAST ITEMS WHEN NEEDED, COSY AND WARM WITH FAN HEATER IF EXTRA BOOST NEEDED. Fabulous that it was totally dog friendly with small enclosed outdoor area to let him out.
The location was incredible, so close to the sea and to the high street with restaurants and shops. The Warehouse Cottages were modern and spotlessly clean with character and interesting features. For those who drive, they also had a parking space available, including EV chargepoint
Smallish but perfectly formed! Modern, clean format. Superb design and layout. Splendid large shower!
Just incredibly comfortable and cosy. Spotlessly clean. Ideal for a couple of days break.
Easy parking out front and fairly short walk to shops or to beach.
Aptly named “the Snug” is perfect for two and is in a wonderful location with good private parking. It is well-equipped and is close to a small selection of shops, the seafront and is a walkable distance, especially along the seafront, to Whitstable.
Stylish decorated and very comfortable hotel, with bar and restaurant, in the centre of Whitstable. Breakfest is impeccable. Very friendly service. Availability of (paying) short or long term parking nearby. Good bus connection to Canterbury.
Excellent location, close to everything. Surprisingly quiet street being so close to the high street. Easy parking right near to the house. House was warm and welcoming. Book a restaurant if you are eating out though, tables go very fast
The central location in Whitstable and parking space included.
The decor very clean and comfortable.
Hotel Continental location for checking in no problems staff very helpful.
2 nights stay at The Cabin.
Near the beach. Lovely walk into Whitstable. Quietness and comfortable bed. Availability of good places to eat. Recommend Marine hotel for evening meal.
