Very nice room and bathroom with exceptional breakfast buffet. The spa has a pool and multiple saunas (only one was switched on though because there were only 4 people in the spa), which was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. The restaurant serves great food and wine, but as can be expected at a higher price than usual for Valbona. It's also convenient that the small village market is right outside the hotel in case you want to buy any snacks. This was also the only place we came across in Valbona and Theth that took card payments.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chestnut Hill! It is an oasis of peace in the Albanese mountains, and therefore truely unique in its kind. The hosts are very friendly, and the food is simply superb. The host makes a daily proposition for dinner, and the guests can reply freely whether the're in for it or not. The rooms are really nice, clean and spacy, the beds are top quality.
