We had such a great stay here! The location is beautiful - surrounded by vineyards and mountains - and the place itself is beautifully maintained, perfect for relaxing or heading out on trips. Perfect hotel if you are biking the EV6. There is a dedicated secure bike storage room. We received a warm welcome from Julia when we arrived who made sure we had everything we needed and suggested an excellent restaurant for our evening meal. This is a classic hotel that has a beautiful courtyard. Our room was large and spacious and very clean. Not all rooms have a bath tub but ours did. (Room 11) If you are reading reviews about an older gentleman those reviews are not current and are out of date. New owners have taken over and are putting lots of effort into making this a great little hotel. A fridge is located in the common area providing cold beverages if you so choose. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of locally sourced organic products available. We were fortunate in that we could enjoy our breakfast in the lovely courtyard. As an added bonus the hotel is located adjacent to one of the best wineries in the region. Literally next door.
