I loved the ground floor decoration as well as the decoration of the room. The bathroom was new, the shower very comfortable. The hotel is very super mega clean. The breakfast was amazing. The very secure parking very conveniently located as it was the hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and thoughtfully designed and the staff was lovely. The room was perfect. Fabulous breakfast. Free parking and minutes from the town centre. Couldn't be better.

Our overnight stay was very comfortable, and refreshing for the next day's travels. We really appreciated the Last Post service in the town of Ypres, especially as we are Aussies for whom Belgium is very thankful. We did not realise the Australian soldiers' value to this small country.

Beautiful hotel and rooms, staff amazing and breakfast was probably the best one we had on this trip. Full buffet breakfast with eggs, croissants, fruit, coffee, juices ... amazing. And a beautiful country location .

Hotel Alliance is located in a manor in the heart of Ypres, 50 metres from the Market Square with the In Flanders Fields Museum and a 100-metre walk from the Menin Gate.

Very central location just off the main square near the Menin Gate and museums, plenty of restaurants nearby lovely spot .The owner ,manager was so helpful that he went out of his way to get information about taxis train timetables ,also the buffet breakfast was amazing will be back in the future

Breakfast was not an option. However the property and owners exceeded all expectations. A wonderful place to stay and perfectly positioned to explore Ypres and the surrounding area. Highly recommended and fantastic value.

B&B Afrodite is very close to where a relative of mine in the 24th Battalion was killed in WW1 - in fact, he was buried only about 100m away. Dirk and Heidi run the B&B. Dirk has a great knowledge and understanding of WW1. He spent over an hour with us, looking at maps, discussing the battle and then actually walking the ground with us to see where CAPT Tom Godfrey might have been buried on 4 Oct 1917. It was a fairly emotional experience, and I will forever be grateful to Dirk for his kind enthusiasm in spending that time with us. Heidi also was bright and cheerful and cooked scrambled eggs for us for breakfast. She could not have been more pleasant. The premises are clean and new and comfortable.

Situated at the highest point in Flanders, with commanding views over the border between France and Belgium (Schreve), the recently renovated hotel is ideal for a relaxing or activity-filled...
