It’s very new, the room is extremely spacious with a view of the mountains. The TV screen was enormous and clear. There’s a small swimming pool overlooking the mountains. It is located off the city area but very close to the yu long river where I cycled and enjoyed the village, river and mountain scenery, and watched bamboo rafters along the river. The staff are very helpful and attentive. They helped me book the tickets for the musicals : Liu San Jie and Qian Gu Qin - both are excellent and strongly recommended. I also got the staff to arrange a teacher to coach me on calligraphy and ink painting at the hotel. There is free breakfast (basic items, but don’t expect buffet food) but you need to order. The coffee is extremely fragrant and strong! Very blessed to have stayed here. There is a small convenience stall about 5 mins walk.

The location was great - set back from the city, but it's easy to rent mopeds to get yourself around without a problem. The views of the mountains were spectacular, and the customer service was super :)

The hotel and its rooms correspond to the descriptions and photos. The Lanshan Moon Hotel (now Fairyland Hotel) is in an excellent location in beautiful nature. Many places of interest (Moon Hill, caves, ancient villages, bicycle routes etc.) are very close, but also Yangshuo is only 13 minutes away by car. But the best thing about the hotel is host and hotel manager Mark, who speaks good English and knows the area very well; he can organize individual excursions, scooters and bicycles and gave us tips for activities every day. In addition, individual dishes can be prepared in the kitchen on request. All in all, we spent a wonderful vacation there!

Our stay was perfect. Every time we returned from our tours or shopping, it felt like we were back in paradise. The staff were welcoming and professional; the rooms were clean, and the breakfast served was delectable. We also enjoyed feeding the ducks, peacocks and fishes. The bamboo rafting experience was a bonus.

The hotel is super convenient, walkable to lots of restaurants. The lady at the tour desk/ coffee bar was really helpful and she made good coffee! All staff members we met (from the Security at the gate, the Reception, Housekeeping, to the technician who came to check on our A/C) were very friendly and courteous. The pool was in excellent size.
