The appartment was a surprise for us - Modern, clean, spacious and "armed" with all facilities we need. Ms. Bettina Lisken and her husband were also very nice. The location is quite decent, with around 20 minutes driving time, we can start our hiking, or schifffahrt. Will come back with our son and spend more days there.

This is a gem of a place- an old-school guesthouse with plenty of character and charm. All staff were very friendly and helpful to every request I had. Facilities include bar with beergarden, pool and sauna and restaurant. Little touches made this place feel very homely even though I was only here for the one night. I was particularly impressed by the schnapps table and spirits trolley in the restaurant 😀

The flat was absolutely fantastic! The size alone blew our mind, it's huge! It has been furnished beautifully and with great care to make you feel at home. The host really thought things through to make sure there is everything you need. Schleiden is a cute little town. We were able to hike straight from our front door. Beautiful woodland walks just behind the property. Very good for keeping fit as there are plenty of steep inclines! The host provided a selection of local maps with round trips for hiking. Check in was great, we arrived an hour early and I called him. He was so kind and helpful, he let us in to the flat and came by shortly afterwards to programme the key pad with our personal code to get in and out. Very modern! It worked great and you don't need to worry about losing your keys!
