Mohamed was the key to the 10 out of 10 experience we had in Meshra Katto. We arrived very late and he made sure someone was waiting for us at the airport to drive us to the boat and to the hotel. Next morning he served us an amazing breakfast in the stunning rooftop overlooking the Nilo. After, he told us everything there was to see and arranged a private tour for us. All extremely well organised. The hotel is perfect for what you pay. Location is the best in the island as it overlooks the beautiful side of it. Stunning views! Check out our photos. The rooms are basic and they have all you need. After we left he was closing for a few weeks to build more rooms and improve the rooftop and rooms. I strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Aswan

Travelling to Egypt for the first time with our 7 year old daughter who is autistic can be challenging. The hotel and staff, especially Marvel of guest relations and Mahamud of Terrace restaurant, went beyond their way to exceed our expectations. We stayed for 1 night as suggested by travel blogs. The Old Cataract was truly magnificent, and It doesn't justify to have stayed here for a short time We are definitely coming back to the old cataract to for more days during our next visit.

New property in a very beautiful location on the Nile. The balcony is overlooking the Nile which was magical for atmosphere and observing wildlife. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The WiFi was not working in the rooms so one of the owners installed another box and it was working perfectly throughout the hotel. The hotel decoration is beautiful, many wedding parties attended to take pictures. There is a boat and one of the owners took me out on the Nile a few times. The meals were delicious with huge portions. They arranged transport and tours during my stay at a great price. The local market with souvenirs is within walking distance. One of the owners showed me around the local area.

Amazingly friendly hosts representing the true meaning of Nubian hospitality. The entire village is very relaxed and friendly, there are great places to eat minutes from the house. You can also ask the hosts to prepare dinner for you, their cooking is excellent and the breakfast is superb! The hosts can also help you book tours and transport and they give you a fair price (which is not so common elsewhere). This is definitely a diamond in the rough, and would certainly recommend staying at place for a few days if you have time.

The view is super super good!!!! If you want to see the nile, this hotel is with the best value. Room is big and cozy.

I loved our stay in El Prince Guesthouse. We were greeted with a glass of fresh Mango juice which started our stay off on a fantastic note. The views from the rooftop are incredible and tranquil. It is the perfect space to watch the sunset or read a book. Amjad and his cousin were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comforatble. We really enjoyed getting to know them and spending time with them. We organised our trip to Abu Simbel with Amjad which was a great addition. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The mango juice is one to get!! 10/10 experience. If I am back in Aswan again I will only stay in the El Prince Guesthouse.
