Well located, near supermarket and restaurant. The place is very quiet in the evening. Rooms and the hotel are kept clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. I feared that I would miss the check-in time. I got a chat from the staff that I should no worry at all. They provided a telephone number just in case we arrived beyond the normal check-in times. For the breakfast, we didn’t miss anything.

Between Paris and Picardie. Easily accessible from the N2, our hotel is a few minutes from the centre of Soissons and less than an hour from Paris and Parc Asterix and Disneyland Paris.

We stop over in Picardy when travelling between France and England and we love the area around Coucy le Chateau. The Chateau du Mont Guny has an incredible location and has been wonderfully redecorated. It is not especially cheap, but you are paying for a perfect calm rural setting, lovely rooms, fabulous views and a terrace for breakfast and evenings. Very strongly recommended indeed.

Dinner in front of the fire, in the castle environment, was unique and brilliant. Dog Spotty felt like the King of the Castle, with lots of smells from nature to experience. The chief-host is one of the sweetest persons we have ever met and knows everything about the area (being born there).
