The hotel is rather grand in appearance, and inside it is also very grand-looking. Built in the late 1800's and very well appointed. The gentleman who checked us it was fantastic, and also doubled as the barman when we asked for a beer before it was really beer o'clock. There was a covered garage to park the motorcycles, and the surrounding gardens were very lovely. It was too cold and wet (late June!) to fully appreciate them. The town is busy and has many restaurants and shops. Primarily a skiing resort, the town seems to close quite early in the summer, and we found the restaurant we had selected had already closed when we got there (this is not mentioned as a reflection on the hotel, but as a guide for fellow travellers). The hotel was very comfortable.

They adjusted breakfast on the last day a half hour earlier so we were able to still have breakfast before leaving in the morning. The breakfast was also amazing, as was the overall service and ability to have a private jacuzzi.

The location is great. Very silent but only 10 min walking from the center of La Chapelle en Vercors. Great to reach beautiful places and hiking areas in the Vercors. Our tip: get the detailed walking map for 9 Euros in the tourist office of La Chapelle. After a day of hiking swimming in the Piscine of La Chapelle is very relaxing (closes 7 pm, 5 Euro/adult). Dinner in the hotel is highly recommend.

The lounge, which was open 24/7 with complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea, was a great add-on. The breakfast was excellent and the room had a really nice design!! Also, the whole project is about sustainability. Would definitely go back.

Best location! Right in the center! We had the room with balcony felt like in Paris! Airco worked very well. and actually cooled the room. Bed was amazingly comfortable.
