The recent refurb has made all the difference. The hotel is now smart, modern and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We enjoyed our dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

It was very clean and cosy and was made to feel very welcome. There were some tea bags left for us, and the host provided us with milk and also gave me some oats milk, which was really good of him. We were also allowed to bring our well behaved small dog with us, which is really great for us.

The location is amazing as it’s easy to reach by train, and as soon as you reach the location you’re immersed into nature and can’t hear any city noises. Spa is Basic but well maintained and they offer a lot of extra services, can get a bit busy and people are not always respectful to behave spa-like, but time it right during the day and you can have an amazing relaxing experience.

Holiday Inn Ipswich Orwell has a convenient location, with good access to the region's major roads.
