Rooms were large and well furnished. Beds very comfortable. Nice amenities. Food in the restaurant was excellent for both the evening meal and breakfast.

Elegant, comfortable, private and well appointed rooms. Extra touches included local milk and bottled water in the mini fridge. A very nice restaurant with experienced and well informed staff. A very interesting wine list. The menu was compromised of locally sourced produce and delicious although the food was noticeably overly salted. Convenient parking and reception staff available 24 hours.

Devonshire Arms at Beeley is located on the Chatsworth Estate, which is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.

Everything from the moment we arrived was first class. We would unreservedly recommend The Peacock to both stay and eat at. Thank you to the entire team who made our stopover one we shall remember extremely fondly.

Staff were exceptional, from housekeeping, waiting staff, receptionists and management Nothing is too much trouble They're ALL helpful, friendly, efficient and a great Team The room was well set out, comfortable and clean Location was really good for accessing bus routes to Matlock Bath, Sheffield town centre and Meadow hall, to name but a few Lovely scrambled eggs and fresh melons and pineapple plentiful at breakfast as was decaffeinated tea & coffee and oat milk which were also supplied on request in the room

Absolutely immaculate hotel in a super location! Staff were so lovely and the wildhive was probably one of the cosiest rooms we’ve ever stayed in!! Loved every second of our stay!
