It's a very nice country hotel just outside Akureyri. Some of the rooms are brand new (I stayed in one of those) excellent shower, very good bed. Very good breakfast. Stayed here for 3 nights.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The capsules provide the needed level of privacy and sound isolation. It's very clean, kitchen had great facilities, common and dining area is spacious and well designed, and the staff is very helpful. My sleep quality was 100% and if I ever end up in Akureyri again, that will be my first choice hostel.

The absolutely gorgeous girl working in Stjörnusól was very helpful! Easy check in / check out! Their spa was fantastic where we had a good hour all by ourselves; hot tub, infrared sauna and drinks. Thank you for having us, we loved our stay!
