My daughter and l stayed at the Lion hotel, 2 days before we flew back to London. It is a family run hotel and the hospitality was absolutely tremendous. The owner Mario, his 2 children and staff went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one . All were so friendly and attentive to our every need. The hotel is in a beautiful location, close to the airport, shopping mall, lovely scenic countryside and the sea directly opposite the hotel. We are at the hotels restaurant and the food was delicious, the included breakfast offers a wide variety. We swam in the pool which a good size and well maintained. One of the members of the staff Estella, was so accommodating and kind. I was given a lift to the airport by the owners son( excuse me l forgot your name ). We had the most heartfelt conversation regarding the quality of life in Calabria, we were both in agreement how we the simple things in life make you the happiest. He had the most wonderful outlook on life , that we had in common indeed. I hope you and Vicky had a well earned holiday in Stromboli . I would love to bring my two oldest children next year to stay and meet you guys.. I hope you would have us again. God bless you and l wish you all at Lion’s hotel all success 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Absolutely everything. I travel to Italy every year and have stayed in a lot of hotels and accommodation from the North to the south of Italy and Sicily but I can honestly say that Hotel San Giovanni is definitely one of my favourites. Everything about it is wonderful and from now on I won’t be booking anywhere else

Absolutely wonderful bed-and-breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful host who communicated with us the whole time, and very clean and tidy rooms. The host even helped us by giving us a ride to take our rented car, as our flight was severely delayed the evening before. If you want to enjoy fresh air, be close to Lamezia but still have peace and quiet, this is the place to rent.

The apartment was comfortable and tidy. There was a lot of space . The apartment had two bedrooms the apartment. THROUGH THE BALCONY WE SAW... a really entertaining thing to see...a jack sparrow head moving .(outside picture attached:D)
