The rooms are just like in the pictures, clean and well maintained. The front desk were nice and welcoming, they helped us in finding the best way to get to Milan. Breakfast was excellent the staff was great.

We absolutely loved Il Mulino. The building has been very well restored and the location is very rural and peaceful, although it’s not far from the Milan ring road. Our room was quite spacious, simply but comfortably furnished and had a nice shower room. We ate in the restaurant and had an excellent meal - all good local stuff, very simple but beautifully cooked and excellent value. Breakfast was very good too. The lady who owns the place was very friendly, as was her assistant. All the rooms are fitted with bug screens, and there’s air-con, so no problems with insects (although I’d recommend insect-repellent if you want to eat outside (it’s a water mill after all). Il Mulino is excellent value, especially as the price includes parking. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to stay again.
