Great location but we did have some trouble finding it. However the duty manager went out of his way to locate us and direct us to the car parking. The Palazzo is very close to the centro storico.The palazzo is stunning with fabulous decor.. Lovely to have extra room in shared seating area directly outside our room which we largely had to ourselves so like a huge suite and including a lovely outdoor balcony area we made use of. Breakfast plentiful and tasty with lots of lovely home made goodies. Scicli is a nice town, less touristy than its more famous neighbors, Modica and Ragusa.

Oh wow!-what a beautiful apartment !! Very well designed, every corner of the apartment is just lovely and beautiful. So very lovely owner so helpful with everything -very well organized. The apartment is very clean, and everything is very carefully and lovingly prepared for the guests . I loved the area very much, what a beautiful city :-) (There were two of us and we wanted 2 separate rooms to sleep in, no problem in this apartment ) I had a “white bedroom “ I felt like a princess “ :-) Thank you so much for everything.

Wonderful time at Villa Giummarito ! Really Nice and quiet place with a great breakfast. Simona helped us to find a restaurant in Scicli. The sea is just nearby after a ten minutes walk. Grazie mille to Simona and her daughters.

Very modern hotel with original design in rooms. Everywhere was very clean, beds very comfortable. It was very cool, that you can fill bottles with natural or sparkling water in coridor near the room.

What a magnificent view from this hotel!! The whole panorama of Modica before you - breathtaking both during the day and at night. Super helpful staff. I had booked a standard room but, on arrival, we were given the choice of our chosen room or an upgrade to a superior one at no extra cost. Naturally, we chose the upgrade and enjoyed a much larger room with sofa and chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view from our balcony incredible and, from the hotel's dining room, an even better one, with its expanse of floor to ceiling windows. We were there in April so didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting and well laid out. Reception staff were helpful with restaurant suggestions and also booked a taxi for us to go to Scicli on one of the days. To get into Modica, we chose to walk down - and back again! A LOT of steps but it didn't take long at all. And there's also a very nice restaurant just a short walk from the hotel, along the same road (with the same stunning view). Only slight negative at the hotel, for me, was the aircon; we were there in early April and they don't switch on the cooling function until later in the month. With the minibar right next to the bed putting out some heat, I did find it pretty warm during the night and had to open the balcony door. Bonus of that was hearing owls calling to each other across the town! We would definitely recommend staying here for a truly memorable time.

The place is astonishing, a 18-century property refurbished partly as an accomodation, partly as a place for people with special needs, who also work at the premises. Beautiful sorroundings, breakfast in a very nice courtyard. All the peace you can find. Is in the countryside, still very near Modica and also Scicli. The apartment given to us was OK, it has a private open space with a big table and chairs. IMHO an excelent place to have relax and nice tours nearby.
