The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the hells of beppu attraction. The buffet (dinner and breakfast) were fantastic. Love the beef steak and the buffet spread. Services by the restaurant crew was fantastic too! The rooms were spacious and the layout was well thought out. The best experience was this particular counter staff. I forgot to note down his name but I really would like to compliment his good service! He was so helpful in giving us the direction to the bus stop and bus time schedule. He personally walked us out of the hotel premise to show us where the location of bus stop. He is what I called service beyond expectation!!

Really Love this place. Comfortable room with private onsen and very helpful staff. Free car parking as requested. Location is great, located near various Jigoku within walking distance. Nice place to stay in Beppu.

It was like a townhouse and had so much room, 2 bathrooms and a fridge with a coffee maker. The beds were pretty comfy and the onsen was the absolute best feature.

Very comfortable traditional ryokan with private onsen bath. Loved the private onsen downstairs too. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with one being able to speak to us in Chinese. Loved the complimentary beer in the lobby too!

The hotel is located in the upper part of Beppu. This part is the more quiet one, and older part of the town. (what we absolutely loved). The hells of Beppu are just around the corner, and about a million different public Onsen baths. We absolutely loved our stay. Parking is possible at the hotel for 500Yen/day. The staff were absolutely amzing and lovely. They speak reasonably good English, also all the signs are in different languages. Thank you! The public Onsen in the hotel is amazing and super nice and clean, there is an outdoor and an indoor area.

The breakfast tasted so delicious, Mr Taro from the front desk suggested it and very resonable prize. During our stay my niece was poorly, she had a fever and the night staff 2 japanese men rang the hospital for us. He even type the hospital location to my sister’s car because she struggled with reading kanji. They were all very helpful to us,they lend their thermometer even put a translator for my husband inorder to understand him. I have had a problem connecting with my sister to pick us up from the Umi Jigoku and Mr Taro was talking to us in English and all the staffs were all very helpful. Mr Taro even left the desk to ask our my niece was. Please give him an award or praise please. Many thanks to all the cleaners the onsen lady for private family bath.
