Accessible Hotels in Hongu

I was very happy when I got to the hotel the atmosphere just felt really friendly and warm. I loved the bridge over the river to the onsen. The onsen was lovely, three outside pools and an indoor pool plus a private onsen for families or couples. The food was fantastic, eat slowly I ate too quickly and felt full too soon. There was a very friendly front of house staff member called Suchittra or maybe Sasayuri. I had a western twin room on the ground floor. The hotel was comfortably busy without being hectic. They have a shuttle bus and that was very handy from Hongu. When I left they gave me very good instructions how and when to catch the public bus to my next location.

Everything! The location is in one of the most beautiful places. The food was delicious and staff were kind, enjoyable, hospitable and made connections with each of us. Highlight was our hosts guitar playing, sitting by the outside fire, onsen, dinner and meeting other wonderful travellers. Will definitely stay again.
