The place is half an hour away from Kyoto Prefecture however, it is the most beautiful place to stay. Away from hustle bustle, amidst the mountains and amazing scenery. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who's travelling for leisure. Bamboo forest is 10 mins away by train. I lived the spa and relaxation as well which is included in the stay.

You will be staying in the home of a kind Japanese grandma who will feed you wonderful treats and amazing homemade Japanese breakfast if you choose to add that option. The breakfast is amazing x amazing! The water pressure in the shower is the best I have ever had! The room has everything you ever need! The staff is very polite, kind, attentive, and speak English! I can’t wait to return!!!!!

The couple that run the space are super sweet and accommodating- we were traveling with our 5 month old and they made the stay very comfortable for us. The location is great to explore the bamboo forest nearby and they gave us lots of great tips to see and eat in the area. The space itself also has loads of cute details and the amenities are very clean and new.
