We loved the in suite onsen. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Loved how the outdoor hot spring allows people with tattoos. Monkey park shuttle was a huge help, leaving at 9:30 AM and returning at noon.

Located close to the station and surrounded by the mountains. They offered us a ride to the station. Very traditional Ryokan with clean bath facilities and excellent food. I wish we could have stayed more than one night! The monkey park is convenient to reach from here. They also have a restaurant with western style food if you booked without dinner. I would definitely recommend booking the dinner though, as it was a beautiful experience. Our room was traditional style and comfortable to sleep in and huge. Breakfast was also great. The outdoor onsen was amazing!

The onsen and all facilities are great. The food is very good, as the hotel offers traditional japanese breakfast and dinner. The hotel offers transfers to the station, monkey park and ski resort which are useful.

Incredible service and incredible overall experience. It's like staying in a fancy cabin in the snow. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.

Great location, easy to find, they gave us a free upgrade because they had empty rooms. Very clean, enjoyed the stay even though it was just one night. Parking was free (was charged 1000yen that I thought was the deposit but didn't receive it back). Used their coin laundry service which was easy to use. Overall a nice experience.

As the hotel is right next to Nagano train station, we requested a room on high floor with a good view of the Shinkasen platform. This was arranged perfectly.
