Spent 4 nights here, using it as a base to explore Yakushima. We were really torn between sightseeing and enjoying the facilities. The staff are very attentive and helpful - dealt with a flat tyre on the hire car as we were leaving in less than 10 minutes. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the food very good and facilities are excellent. Very happy to use the free guest laundry to wash dirty walking clothes - it does rain a bit on the island.

Mikun was really kind and made sure we understood how everything worked. He gave us snacks when we were tired after walks. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

A beautiful place surrounded by peace, serenity, and nature. Yuki and her husband are truly wonderful people. I highly recommend the Kaiseki dinner and the lunch boxes they prepare with great care and love – they are absolutely delicious.

My brother and I stayed there in May for 4 nights and we were more than satisfied. The owners were so lovely, the room was clean and spacious. We couldn't book a rental car and luckily the owner booked one for us. So we can't thank them enough. It is worth booking breakfast and dinner. Meals were prepared with love and it was so delicious. And we got very helpful tips where to go to. Great value for the price. I recommend to book a rental car as early as possible 😁. ありがとございました❤️
