I came at 05:00 a m the manager was in touch with me. before I came he kindly sent me the wi fi internet password that I can call hem when I came. he meet me. offer tea or coffee that was so nice to feel hospitality after long flight. The hotel just across the ocean close by the beach and there are a lot of depots shops and cafes close by. Amazing stay - 100% recommend. I booked twin room for 3 weeks, very comfortable bed, room had enough space for some yoga practice, table, mirror and coathangers also in the room. Everything was very clean, good shower - never ran out of water. There is a communal kitchen for use and also drinking water available from a filter which was a great bonus. They also have a bicycle available for rent and offer laundry service. Host and her family are lovely people - stay is close to weligama beach, but far enough away to be quiet and away from the bustle. I would definitely stay again! Thankyou ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing self catering apartments, we ended up staying an extra two nights! the room was beautiful brand new building so modern all the appliances you need, comfy big beds, you can do your laundry on site, it’s right across the road from the beach. The owner is such a lovely man easy to communicate with and could not do enough for us while we were here. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in weligama thank you 🫶🏻

Namal's was one of the best guesthouses we've stayed in in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable stay, private, quiet, and the most incredible rooftop overlooking Weligama. It was so rewarding to watch the sunrises and sunsets from here. And Namal has to be the kindest and most welcoming host! He really takes care of his place and the people that pass through. We will definitely be returning on our next trip! Also, bonus points for a water filter open to everyone to use- more places should do this to reduce plastic water bottle waste!

What I loved the most was the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, the river, and the main street. The family is truly welcoming, the neighbors are lovely, and the amenities make the stay very comfortable. The mattresses are great, and you can even rent a bike to explore the area. Honestly, everything was perfect! I came because it was highly recommended, and I’ve decided to extend my stay — it’s honestly the best place I’ve stayed in Weligama (perfect AC, hire water and fast wifi).
