Absolutely awesome stay. Not only is the hotel (especially my room) very nice - the location is close to the center and airport and the host is extremely nice and friendly - it is "family feeling" there. Careful about the stairs (but this is all in the description - so if you expect an elevator, read the description carefully). I (but by my own fault) twisted my leg and the host immediately took care about me with ice and medicine and even let me stay for free in my room even after checkout time until she drove me to the airport. She also wanted to help carry my luggage - I have to thank a lot for that really family like care taking and would 100% pick this one again.

The service is amazing, we got picked up late at night even after the flight got delayed and our luggage took a while to come, all was easy, and the room was much bigger than expected with all the amenities you could want, also very stylish and pretty, we stayed for one night but we could have stayed longer, the breakfast was great, and on the ride back I even tried to tip our driver a bit and he refused! 10/10 if you want to stay in Dakhla town look no further.

The establishment is superbly appointed with natural materials and finishes. The centrepiece of the beautiful grounds is a stunning Italianate infinity pool using fesh seawater. Translucent and pristine. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and the staff and service topnotch. The restaurant has an excellent selection of local and international specialities with plenty of locally sourced fresh fish dishes along with a decent wine list. The daily buffet breakfast is a regal affair. Fresh juices fruits eggs home made pastries etc ..Recently under new multilingual management keen to make their mark.

The Calipau Sahara hotel enjoys an idyllic location by the Dakhla bay, 3 kilometres from the airport and 5 kilometres from the city centre.
