Fantastic hotel, high standard, very good kitchen serving a very good - though somewhat pricy - dinner. Rooms are very nice and everything of high standard. Very nice outdoor pool.

The location was great, just a short walk up from Shizhou (aka Shizhao). It is nestled in tea fields, with one of the area's lovely trails - Love Trail - right near the homestay. The hostess made us feel more than welcome, and helped us with a map of trails in the area and a map of trails in Alishsan. She shared delicious oolong tea with us when we arrived. Her partner was also lovely.

There is ample of parking space and the room is very comfortable and spacious. Love the room design as well. The shampoo, soap and conditioner provided are my favourite. However, the downside is that their restaurant closed really early (last order 7pm). And when we checked in late (7.30pm), despite messaging them through booking.com at 5.30pm that we will be dining in, our request was unheard because we did not have a local number. Fortunately there was one hotpot restaurant that open very late.
