Mountain View Guesthouse might be the best guesthouse I’ve stayed in. It’s located very close to the N7, petrol stations, supermarket, restaurants, and Costa coffee shop. A lovely warm welcome from Roché. He has thought of everything. A beautiful, immaculately clean room, full kitchen facilities with comprehensive dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, air fryer, coffee pod machine, 2 x multi-head phone chargers. Also a working TV (doesn't always happen in my experience), and secure parking. No breakfast provided but that was expected, and it’s fine for me as I had my own food. And places to eat close by. I stayed over multiple times at this venue. It suits all my needs in terms of the rooms, and the restaurant and bar on the premise. I feel totally at home when I am at Namaqua Lodge, and definetely do not want to try any other venue.
