Situated in El Calafate and with Argentinean Lake reachable within 3.9 km, Folk Hostel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. My favorite hostel during my trip to South America, no one else. There are many rules for check-in, but I like it this way. We make it clear in advance and follow it, so that everyone can maintain a good atmosphere in the youth hostel. The kitchen is large, with two sets of stoves, so everyone can cook without waiting for a long time. In Calafate in January, the sunset is very late, and the kitchen has great lighting. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The opening time is also suitable for the tours. The toilet and shower are very clean, the hot water for bathing is very large, and there is a hair dryer. It is not far from the bus station on foot, and it is convenient for public transportation. There is a small blue house at the intersection, which is a supermarket. It sells delicious beef and reasonable-priced Coke, hahaha.

Viajero Calafate Hostel in El Calafate provides adults-only accommodation with a fitness centre, free bikes and a garden. I had a really enjoyable stay at Viajero Calafate Hostel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to share helpful tips about the area and recommend activities. The hostel itself has beautiful views of Lake Argentino and the surrounding mountains, which made for a really nice atmosphere. My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for resting after long days of exploring. The common areas were a great place to relax, with a well-equipped kitchen and cozy spaces to meet other travelers. I also appreciated the included breakfast, which was simple but tasty and a good way to start the day.

Set in an impressive Alpine-style building featuring a spa and a fitness centre, Hotel Kosten Aike offers rooms with free WiFi in Calafate. Ornella at the front desk was awesome !! So very helpful and pleasant ! The hotel was wonderful, like staying in an Alpine lodge. The rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the whole property. The breakfast area was spacious and the food was great. And the location was excellent, close enough to the central downtown area with good shopping and great dining choices, but far enough away to be able to have a very peaceful rest at the end o the day. REALLY enjoyed our stay here.

Posada Los Alamos is situated in the heart of El Calafate, close to Argentino Lake. It has spa facilities, an indoor pool and free Wi-Fi in all areas. The staff went overboard for us, the room was great, loved it all

Located in El Calafate, Santa Cruz, this bed and breakfast offers views of Lake Argentino, a charming garden and the surrounding mountains. Incredible sunset views and a very cute, quaint property. The staff was really helpful in pointing out things to do locally. The provided breakfast was lovely. Fantastic spot!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, EHBoutique Experience is a recently renovated aparthotel set in El Calafate, 4.2 km from Argentinean Lake. Fantastic….Truly El Calafate’s secret gem! It was clean, newly renovated and included an exceptional, healthy breakfast feast each morning! Location simply cannot be beat. Sits just 1 block from downtown area, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Best of all, the owner herself went above and beyond to guarantee that our comfort was top notch, what a nice surprise!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Cabañas del lago is situated in El Calafate, 2.4 km from Argentinean Lake and 1.5 km from Nimez Lagoon. Cozy cabins, there was nothing to complain about. Location is suitable for those who travel by car. Heating works well. The host is welcoming and friendly. We were offered late checkout, and it was nice.

TAAR AIKE (Lugar de Hielo) is located in El Calafate, 3.2 km from Regional Museum, 3.7 km from Nimez Lagoon, as well as 4.1 km from El Calafate Bus Station. Overall the apartment was great, but only 2 people can stay there.
