With mountain views, Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca is set in Heredia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Very clean and cosy. Owner super sweet, enticing us with strawberries grown there and delicious food, very attentive and accommodating to all our requests. The chalets were thematic, each had a flower name and you had that glower planted in front of it, which we found very cute.

Featuring a garden, Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 is situated in Sarapiquí, within 35 km of La Paz Waterfall Gardens and 38 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Situated in Heredia, 10 km from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn features accommodation with a farm to table restaurant, spring-fed hillside infinity... Incredible property. Wonderful rooms and facilities. Should have stayed longer! Spa, pool and views were amazing. Definitely recommend coffee tour and tasting. Staff super friendly and helpful. Mirador Prendas has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Sarapiquí. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Remote location was amazing with beautiful views and waterfall on property just a short hike away. Very quiet and secluded area. Nixon was our service specialist who brought us our meals to eat on the balcony and assisted with anything we needed. Very personal service
