Lovely place, clean and friendly, fantastic breakfast, only slight negative was the bed was so hard (and we like a hard mattress) a topper would fix this.

Small family run property set beside the river and amongst beautiful trees. The pool is small but the perfect temperature and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The garden is gorgeous and alive with beautiful butterflies and birds. We actually saw a sloth in one of the large trees on the property. Carlos, the owner, is very gregarious and ready and willing to help with anything you might need. The whole family goes out of their way to ensure your holiday is fun filled and problem free.

Located 300 metres from Carmen Beach, Shark Town Mal Pais offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. With pool views, this accommodation offers a terrace and a swimming pool. Can’t speak highly enough of the Friendly and helpful staff. Nice private decking with fan out front of apartment. Very clean. Close walk to quieter beach. Nice pool. Daily cleaning. Staff helped organize laundry for us. Good quantity of towels (bath, hand, pool and face washer towel per person) which were changed whenever needed. Cooking facilities and fridge in room. Not a hostel vibe, but still got to know neighbors.

Suite had wall to wall glass doors and from the moment we opened the door we were greeted with a beautiful ocean view. Loved the balcony and specially the small private pool. We enjoyed seeing small fishing boats as well as bigger ships lined up for their entrance to the Puntarenas dock, and we even saw a couple of macaws flying by. Very pretty decor and furnishings with lots of wood and nice details such as flowers in the bath towels. Good to have small fridge, microwave and hot plate.

Botanika Osa Peninsula, Curio Collection By Hilton has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and restaurant in Puerto Jiménez. A beautiful property, right in the jungle with outstanding rooms and facilities. The location was superb - right next to the airstrip and an easy walk into Puerto Jiménez. We saw and heard so much wildlife and went on a spectacular night hike with Osa Wild. The pool area was great and the trails around the grounds were also wonderful. Food and drink was quite expensive, but we could cater for ourselves when we wanted to as we had kitchen facilities in our room.
