Set in Sierra Nevada National Park, Estrella de las Nieves offers fantastic views of the Barranco de Poqueira Gorge. Great breakfast, very clean room, friendly staff. Facilities are basic but the shower is very strong and has multiple heads. The swimming pool is a bonus but I didn't have time to use it during a two-night stay. It locates at the entrance of the village, very easy for parking.

We went to Órgiva because of a cycling event in the area and to stay in Embrujo Andaluz Complejo was a good choice. Communication was easy and the welcome extensive. We had a great time in la Almunia de la Alpujjara during our Christmas trip to Yegen. Yegen is a very small and calm village in Alpujjara de la Sierra. The apartments are located next to the main road so it is easy to get there and park (streets in the village are very narrow so it's an advantage). At the same time cars don't bother you because they are very few passing through the road. The apartment had everything that we need. Kitchen was very well equipped. Apartment was very clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable there. We got a better apartment that we booked and it has an amazing view on the mountains. We recommend to choose the apartment with a terrace. Terrace has also a small grill so were able to do a barbecue. Apartment was very warm. We loved our stay in Yegen!

Tiny but cozy apartment with all the amenities. Nice terrace to enjoy sun in the evenings and good fire ti keep the house warm and cozy. Friendly staff.
