We arrived 6 hrs after our designated time of arrival because of flooding, storms and detours amidst traffic chaos to a relaxed, happy and accommodating staff that made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The service, amenities and attention to detail is without a doubt unsurpassable. Breakfast was delicious.

Located in Vichy, 300 metres from Palais des Congrès Opéra Vichy, Maison Decoret - Relais & Châteaux features a casino and views of the city. The staff and the owner of Maison Decoret were really welcoming. The dinner in the evening and the breakfast were so good. It was a unique experience for us. Thank you.

Boasting an indoor pool and views of city, château Camus is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Montmarault, 30 km from Athanor Centre de Congrès. Our host is reconstructing this gem of chateux with love and care and also arranged everything we needed (even a dinner on Sunday in a nearby restaurant). The interiors are done very nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and suited for people with mobility issues. Nights are tranquil. Beware- Sundays and Mondays the majority of restaurants is closed in France. Also every day between 14.00- 19.00 it is hard to get meals in France.

Very well appointed room, and the hosts were delightful. The breakfast was excellent and they also cooked us an excellent dinner at very short notice. Highly recommended.
