This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. The location is very central and easy to walk around the town. The staff was so very pleasant and helpful! They helped get us dinner reservations during the busy Ascension holiday weekend. Wonderful breakfast in the spacious downstairs. ample parking on the grounds. No elevator, but an easy climb up the wide spiral staircase, plus, we were helped with the luggage on arrival. The garden was lovely to lounge in. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated.

Camping Beaussement SWEETY, a property with a garden, is set in Chauzon, 20 km from Pont d'Arc, 21 km from Ardeche Gorges, as well as 19 km from Chauvet Cave. All round vibe and atmosphere. The staff and owners very welcoming. When we visit the Ardeche again we will definitely use it.

L’Auberge du Campos was the most perfect place to stay on our travels through France. Stunning old school building has been beautifully restored and fitted out. The rooms are spacious with lovely views and very comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities fantastic and our host Sarah went out of her way to look after us, even preparing a delicious meal with local produce and wine on a night that the restaurant was not open. Sarah also gave us some great tips on local sights to see which we found to be perfect suggestions, including ruins of a chateau and nice villages to visit nearby. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back when we visit France again!

Situated in Vallon-Pont-dʼArc, 7.9 km from Pont d'Arc, Hôtel Villa Walbaum features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Simply everything. Right from the welcome when we arrived until our checkout 10 days later. Our room was fantastic, it overlooked the pool and a garden. The freshly made breakfasts were delicious. At one point there was even a freshly baked pear cake. But above all the people, everyone did their best to make our stay truly memorable. After a few days they what we liked for things to do and type of restaurants.
