Situated within 400 metres of Elgin Cathedral and 44 km of Huntly Castle in Elgin, Kilmorie House provides accommodation with seating area. Peter was a great host. He would do anything in his power to accommodate your every need. Room was spacious and very nicely decorated with a king-sized bed. Large bathroom with a great shower. All the linens were very high quality from the towels to the table napkins. Great breakfast made to order.

Apartrooms Aberdeen is situated in Aberdeen, 11 km from Beach Ballroom, 9.4 km from Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museum, as well as 10 km from Aberdeen Harbour. The place was spacious and comfortable and came with complimentary coffee/tea/water which I really appreciated after having travelled far! The location is great, really close to Aberdeen with plenty of parking and a quick drive down the road to the supermarket. It was well signposted so easy to find as well. Communication was great, very easy instructions for check in/out.

Your host AJ and Siebette are absolutely amazing. They are following their dream to give you an amazing guest experience and combining their love of Scotland and Whiskey. If you are a whiskey lover, you will be amazed with their over 500 whiskey you can try as a very reasonable cost. Some rare finds here. If you are not a whiskey drinker, this facility is comfortable, the food is great (recommend their supper offering too) and hospitality amazing. Clean and modern facilities. You are a few minutes from Dufftown and close to many distilleries. If you go to Speyside, you need to stay here.

Offering a garden and garden view, Struan House is set in Buckie, 27 km from Elgin Cathedral and 41 km from Huntly Castle. Featuring sea and mountain views, this bed and breakfast also has free WiFi. Struan House is a lovely old house in the centre of sea-side Buckie. The hosts are delightful, and offered me lots of details to make my 3-night stay as comfortable as possible. Although it is a ‘pet-friendly’ establishment, it was very well-cleaned and my allergies were not triggered. It was a good base for my explorations of north-east Scotland. Lots of interesting breakfast conversation from the international guests, many of whom were starting the Speyside Way or riding bikes. Thanks Robert and Giffy for a wonderful stay!

Offering garden views, Rudan Guest House AB53 6UQ is an accommodation set in New Deer, 48 km from Huntly Castle and 15 km from Delgatie Castle. The place is a little difficult to find. The owner stayed with me on the phone and stood on the road to make sure I could find it. Very pleasant hosts.
