Situated in Bunaken, 13 km from Manado Harbor, Lekker Gezellig Dive Resort Manado features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We had a really wonderful stay and a great time at Lekker Gezellig. It is only 10 minutes boat ride to Bunaken. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Any issues were taken care of immediately. We love the quietness of the place with birds singing and animal sounds around. The staff and dive crews are super friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed the days we spent on the boat diving and snorkelling. The food was delicious and the cook can cater to our wishes and the children's preference. We also had a really nice chat with Changli, the owner, who is super attentive and accommodating. At the end of our stay we went on small boats to see the Tarsius family living in the mangrove. Thank you to all the staff for the hospitality. We hope to return again one day :)

Actually I stayed three days but with different bookings. My first stay I got a very nice room with excellent cleanliness. But on the second stay I got a different room that has lower cleanliness.

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. Simone, Maria, Ranty and the dive crew made it flawless. from the moment we arrived we fell in love with the tropical green paradise they have created. The lovely ladies at reception running to get us mosquito spray and offering to lend us their bikes shows their commitment to guest’s happiness and their beautiful kind hearts. The stunning freshwater pool that is not only the perfect temperature to cool down but is surrounded by bird song and lush gardens with flowers and canopies to admire as you float. The rooms with their glass jungle views and lovely comfy beds! The children adored their meal times with a game of pool on the side. Every meal was delicious and served with a smile. Then when we took our boat trips the Thalassa crew were full of sunshine smiles and laughter. Great companions for snorkelling, diving and jumping off the boat with the children. Creating memories we will never forget.

Located 4.2 km from Manado Harbour, Best Western The Lagoon Hotel offers panoramic views of the Celebes Sea and mountains. Property in the Beachfront, a quiet area because it is not directly on the main road with very good service in the room also in the restaurant, and throughout the hotel area. Spacious and clean room, friendly and welcoming staff. Very enjoyable sea view from the room and restaurant.

Ibis Manado City Center Boulevard is located in Manado, 2.5 km from Manado Harbor and 13 km from Sam Ratulangi International Airport. Great location across from big shopping malls but crossing the street was not easy. Clean room although a bit on a smaller side. Nice restaurant downstairs for bfast and dinner. Friendly staff.

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk. Peaceful waterfront location with snorkelling available out front. Excellent food and friendly staff. Close to the village. Airport pick-up with transfer to resort available.

Swiss-Belhotel Maleosan Manado Hotel is located in the centre of Manado’s business district. The hotel features panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. The service was great, the food in the restaurant tasty, they have a gym and a large pool, nice view of the city and a reliable driver. In the evenings there's live music in the lobby, which was amazing!

The Queens Villa is the pearl of North Sulawesi ! I’ll start with the food. You don’t eat at Queens Villa, you dine. The food is prepared from start to presentation by master chefs. They take great care and pride in their work and will always visit your table to be sure everything is excellent. They even take notice of what you don’t eat so they know what you like. Meals are served around the three tiered pool that is crisp and clean and no chlorine ! A beautiful water falls with soft lighting brings a soothing atmosphere. The property is always occupied by many artist always making wonder wood works, fountains and flora that feels like the garden of Eden. Dinners and evening are a great mix of international artist and travelers sometimes great conversations sometimes musicians playing guitars and drums, flutes and on occasion Karaoke singing! They have a complete network of drivers, guide and business people all around Sulawesi. If you don’t want to carry cash around the village and boats and on tours you can just tell them your hotel and they will send the bill to Medi and Julieanna. They can arrange any kind of tours and excursion tailored to your likes, so you don’t need to pay for packaged tours that you don’t want and at a great price. They are the only ATM on the island at this time which is really convenient. And the most important part for me is the dive shop. Local guides with eagle eyes and fantastic skills!!! Again, very wonderful prices and equipment. Indonesia in my opinion is the greatest dive sites on our planet right now and Bunaken is right up there with Raja Ampat and their reefs and dive sites are just minutes away on a boat. And for turtle lovers, this is by far the turtle haven of our planet bar none!!! My favorite by far!!!!!
