Castle Varagh Hotel & Bar has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Westmeath. Lovely rooms, liked how there was a seperate room. Loved the teas/coffees and biscuits left for us to enjoy. Breakfast was wonderful. All staff were so friendly and really aimed to please. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend.

Drove down from Derry stayed here as it was close to GAA grounds that we had a game at. Owners where lovely and friendly. Nice wee friendly bar just two mins up the road, they had great facilities including darts board that we all had use off and not forgetting the 1st class breakfast! Unreal! Thank you very much for a great stay and making us feel so welcome.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Mullingar town apartment 2 bedrooms offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.5 km from Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. The property was beautiful, clean and comfortable and definitely somewhere I would stay again. The facilities were wonderful and the location was perfect for easy access to the town.

The location is ideal as its ony an hour from both Glaway and Dublin . Was so cosy and welcoming on arrival from soft lighting in the rooms to the solid fuel stove lit and lovely and warm . Brilliant host and Pauline thought of everything from breakfast to shampoos ect . Will definatly come back .

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... We had an unusual experience during our stay here. We had a lovely room, very large and comfortable, and all the reception people we dealt with were very helpful. In the morning after our first night, my husband had a kidney stone attack, and we had to go to the hospital. It was a Sunday and the receptionist told us we needed to go to Portiuncula Hospital and she called a taxi. After that, he was admitted to hospital, and I was on my own for the next night and I had to add on one more night, which was in a smaller room, but equally as comfortable. I appreciated being able to have dinner at the hotel for the two nights on my own, and the meals were very good. I had the breakfast on one morning, and it was very good, with lots of variety. I also appreciated the kindness and understanding of the reception staff. On the morning I left, because I had to wait for a taxi, the receptionist had tea and a biscuit brought to me. It was a memorable stay, perhaps for the wrong reasons, but I will always remember the staff at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Very comfortable bed, spacious, fresh, clean room with bathtub and a shower. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
