Is easy to get there and then is self service so easy check in and check out. Great experience. There is a kitchennette in the building where you can boil water and use the microwave if you need, great plus!

Clean, modern, spacious interior with a well-appointed kitchen. They even had a free washer/dryer for guests to use, which was a welcome surprise.

Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. One of the my best stays in Iceland. Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

It is super curated and you can feel the passion in the details. Real plants inside, great barbecue, nice terracotta glazed service. Plus the view is fantastic!! Basically my dream home 🫶🫶🫶

Overlooking the Akureyri Fjord, Viking Cottages Akureyri is located 7 km from central Akureyri. All cottages include free WiFi access, a well-equipped kitchen and a private terrace. Beautiful, clean cottage with all the amenities. We stayed 2 days and we were very comfortable. The shower and water pressure were excellent. The hot tub was very welcoming after a long day of walking & visiting. We highly recommend this place

Comfortable bed and spacious double room. Nice common area and a fabulous kitchen. The breakfasts were fortifying, but mostly the host made us all feel at home. A wonderful facility in a special place with special people.
