Glacier World - Hoffell Guesthouse is located in Hoffell. It offers brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi access, and view of mountains. The Route 1 Ring Road is just 3 km away. Staff is super. Location and view on the valley and glacier, everything is new and furniture basic, but all you need! We had extra time for breakfast and they cooked extra waffle for the kids. The wifi was a bit weak in the breakfast room, but not an issue at all. There is a really nice mini-exhibition with rocks and minerals in the sitting room, with some history about the place with focus on local nature. Just 15/20 mins from Hofn, with plenty of restaurants available.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse. This place far exceeded our expectations. You enter your room directly from the outside so you never bother neighbours. The exterior wall is mostly glass with beautiful views. The room is very comfortable and the beds had to be the best in the trip, even the floor was comfortable! The bathroom was large and had everything. We didn't miss a thing! And the shared spaces are marvelous too, the dining room is very pleasant and well equipped, you have a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and microwave as well as dishes and cutlery. The woman who prepares breakfast (she arrived as we left) was very helpful and agreeable too. I only wish our stay had been longer!

Overlooking Höfn Harbour and Vatnajökull Glacier, this hostel features a guest kitchen, BBQ area and laundry facilities. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, as well as boat and snowmobile trips. We traveled with 2 teenagers. Very good contact with the staff. Very large communal spacious kitchen. Despite the many guests, there was no problem with preparing a meal. Large clean bathrooms - we had no problem with accessibility. Quadruple room: large, comfortable, quiet, with a sink. The hostel is shoeless so it is very clean. Worth recommending.

Set next to Hof turf church, this hotel offers an on-site restaurant and free WiFi. Skaftafell National Park is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel. Cape of Ingolfshöfdi is 3 km away. I recommended this place for accommodation. There is nice and helpful staff. This place is near to the glacier hiking meeting point. Free parking and great quality breakfast. This is a memorable place as this is my first time to see the northern light ever.
