Our room had the most amazing views of the historic center. It was worth the stay just for the view! But luckily, everything else was great as well. The room was comfortable with a huge shower. The staff were absolutely lovely and provided us with vegan croissants when I told them we were vegan. For us, the location was great as it was right in the middle of everything.

Hotel Martino offers stunning views over the Policastro Gulf, a heated indoor pool, and free lobby Wi-Fi. The seaside and the private beach are a 10 minute's walk away. Parking is free. Great view! Good structure, accessible for wheelchair and people with low mobility, they have elevator. Also offer a heated pool. Really nice breakfast.

The location was great, not far from the city center. We were able to park our car there and the room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The staff was most helpful and nice. They went out of there way to help with suggestions of restaurants and sights. Pietro was nice and most helpful.

Set within 19 km of Casa Grotta nei Sassi and 19 km of Matera Cathedral, La Volpe e la Stella by Podere Carriero offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Montescaglioso. Excellent B&B, everything was superb. Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with a nice balcony overlooking the farm. Probably the best part of our stay was the breakfast, with everything fresh and eggs from the farm. The host is amazing. We stayed here and visited Matera for the whole day. We could only stay one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer.

Situated in Atella and with National Archaeological Museum reachable within 39 km, Palazzo Badiale history&rooms features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi... The room was spacious, extremely clean and super comfortable and the bed was big and comfy. Our hosts, Emilio and Donatella, were so lovely, helpful and generous!! We felt as if we were at home with friends. The fact that they make the best pizza, pastry, cake and chocolate obviously helps :) Fantastic stay and definitely recommended!!!!
