The hotel staff from the reception to the restaurant to the housekeepers is perfect. Anything I asked for I get it ASAP. The owner Francisco and his mother is a leader not a boss and all his staff is like a family. Thanks to the whole QUERCETTA family starting from the reception Giorgia,Jacomo, Eleonora & Martina. The Chefs Giovanni, Lorenzo & Elisabetta. I try all the menu plus the Chef was making always a surprise dishes and all what I can say WOWWWWW. Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Comfortable room, great location . The property has fabulous art work and is tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent- friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend Orvieto and the Hotel Duomo.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. This little hotel provides comfort and amenities that you would expect at a much higher price. Aside from the attractive and very comfortable room, there was a welcoming lounge for relaxing, and a generous breakfast was served in another. character-filled space. The staff is extremely pleasant and goes out of their way to make guests feel comfortable.
