I sought something special for a nice trip to the Inawashiro area, and this (a bit remote) place was a most welcome stay just for that little something. Having a sauna and avanto in the cold of January is a must try! The meals they prepared and everything was perfect. The staff is friendly and nice and eager to have a pleasant conversation any time. As we were traveling without a car, we took a taxi to it but the next day we were offered a ride back to the station. Overall we couldn't be happier about our stay.

This house was very comfortable and the owners was very helpful. I would strongly recommend for anyone looking for accommodation for a family. It had a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of room to sit and relax .

Ideally located just a 1-minute walk from JR Fukushima Station, this hotel features a 24-hour front desk and free property-wide Wi-Fi. It also offers a breakfast with various Japanese and local... Get out of the station turn right! Amazing hotel staff. Well equipped place. 10/10! I took some free bath salt this hotel provided to bath and found a little restaurant nearby on the other side of the station for goyza. Fukushima is known for their ramen, goyza, and red miso katsu. For those who complain about food, it’s Japan, food is every 50 metres and better than anything I’ve had in over 20 countries. The room is small because it’s Japan but I find this hotel spacious because I got a bigger bed. Not only the gentleman at the front desk spoke English, he printed a local map and train station map for me. I have been all over Europe, United States, and Australia and for 3times the amount of price I paid over this hotel, I have gotten way worse service and amenities. This is in Fukushima and they still provided the best they could. For all the visitors that expects Japan to cater to your language pander to your needs from another country…..try that elsewhere. Anyway, the station has a pretty cute local bakery across from McDonald’s. A large pharmacy and an entire S-pal market to go through for snacks and food. Not that I don’t already know this, the entire nation is so full of varieties of foods, beverages, and washroom, you can never go hungry, thirsty or restriction to relieve yourself literally every half km. Take this station bus from the other side using underground passage via elevator to a bus area. take number 10 bus to Aizu wakamatsu the samurai town. Or take the train to Yamagata for yamadera and Zao onsen. Or take the train to Sendai and do all the day trips there. Everything is easy and convenient.

Situated in Minamisouma, 18 km from Hyakushaku Kanon, Hotel Maruya Grande features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a restaurant. What an amazing hotel it was! I didn’t expect such a wonderful room and service!!! We arrived with two bicycles soaking wet. The front desk stuff gave me a towel to wipe and let us park our bikes inside secure area. Our room was very clean and spacious. Bed was super comfortable that I slept through. The front desk stuff’s small kindness/care to the guest (me) made my stay memorable. I totally recommend this hotel, and give them two thumbs up.

Hotel Mets Fukushima is located a minute's walk from Fukushima Station East Exit. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Unlike most hotels, which have buffet style breakfast, this hotel offered a set breakfast with choices of either Japanese or Western styles. The quality of the food is far superior to buffet breakfast, and are well portioned. It was well prepared, and was a delicious, well filling meal. The train station and car parking lot is very conveniently located next door to the hotel with barrier free access. This makes rolling large suitcases to the hotel very easy. Although the parking lot isn't a parking garage to shield you from the elements, part of it is under a bridge, which is a good compromise.
