We were very surprised at the quality of the accommodation, it looked so new, bright and spacious. The onsen was zen like. The web photos do not do it justice

The hotel has the roof-top one and the one on the ground floor. Both are excellent. If I visit Beppu again, I will book two nights.

Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.
