Staff greeted us warmly even though they stayed late to take care of us.

This is our first time in Japan and we landed straight for 4 nights in this great hotel. You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

As a couple with tattoos we couldn't use the main baths but this was perfect. Used it in the evening after dinner and then again in the morning watching the sun come up. The room was large and comfortable. The food was excellent.

Set in Nagahama, 13 km from Hikone Castle, Kitabiwako Hotel Grazie offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. The hotel was super easy to find and is located in a beautiful area right by the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good with everything required for a wonderful start to the day. It is a short walk to the old part of the town which is worth visiting. We were very happy with the size of our room and it was very quiet and clean. We would definitely stay there again.
